Sample Management Paper on Importance of Internal Communication in An Organization

Communication is one of the soft skills and most important aspect of leadership yet said
to be very challenging. In today’s world, managers are required to promote effective
communication within the organization. In this way, they may face challenges such as cultural
diversity, language barriers, and behavioral patterns of employees (Cangemark, 2022)
Employee engagement plays a significant role to increase employee satisfaction and help
utilize their full potential (Osborne, 2017). These engagement factors include; people, work,
reward, policies and practices, training, opportunity, and quality of life. Employees who believe
their opinion counts and that their ideas are worth considering are more inclined to go above
when the organization requires them. And the significance of it cannot be overstated.
When the employees are more aware of the objectives and goals of the organization, they
assist one another to form a symbiotic work relationship, this will enable them to understand the
culture of the company (Uka, 2014). However, stronger teams cannot be built with weak internal
communication among different levels of a company, therefore team having good internal
communication will perform better and be able to achieve the goals of the organization.
In the workplace conflicts are inevitable. Misunderstanding, clash of ideas, or lack of
recognition often create external and internal conflicts. For the organization to solve the conflicts
among its employees, it should deliberately foster diversity, and a culture of respect, listening,
and address the issues immediately (Men, 2014)

Internal communication does more than only connect the many divisions inside a business.
Communication methods that are purposefully created may also be a good human resource
management approach.

Human resource management is incomplete until you interact with your employees, care
about their well-being, and are willing to listen to their comments. This not only allows you to
understand what your employees want, but it also allows you to create rules that meet their
worries and wants (Uka, 2014)
If your business is enormous and employs thousands of people, giving lengthy
motivational speeches during the meetings may not be practical. Therefore,
internal communication channels allow staff members to commend and honor one another for
completing any tasks or milestones and can make excellent use of this. This communication tool
may inspire the staff members and foster an atmosphere of celebration and gratitude inside the
company (Men, 2014)
An organization's internal communication efforts help to eliminate workplace rumors.
The transmission of knowledge to everybody without any concealment is most crucial (Men,
2014) This increases fact awareness among employees and reduces the amount of perplexing
informal communication. This improves communication and trust between the staff and their
management.
Internal communication inspires staff, engages the workforce, lessens disagreements, fosters
connections, and maintains mutual respect and trust between the organization and the workforce.
