  1. The human mind is dictated by the simulations that it perceives relates to a given situation. People have different perceptions of things they are experiencing in their lives. As a result, all these theories consider that for a child to develop both cognitive and social skills, they have to develop an environment where they feel in control of the situation. In their game/ play, they get to test or evaluate the different options within their environment that relates to their perception of the issue and then re-enact the same. A failure would mean they would consider a different approach next time.

Despite play being a critical element in the ability of children to learn, it does not offer the perfect setting or themes to consider in bringing up a child or teaching them about the different elements within their environment. For instance, when a child fails in one simulation, it is not a guarantee that he/ she will consider a new approach to rectify the failure. They could skip the step and go to the next one, which challenges some of the basics of the psychology theories.
  3. The element within an environment defines the way a child gets to learn and even develop in character. While the presence of blocks in an environment might trigger the need to develop a phone or building, the first experience still becomes a stepping stone to determining their perception of what to do with the blocks. Paget’s’ theory suggested that the stages cannot be skipped, which makes the first stage important in the subsequent stages and learning experience.
  4. The structure, elements, and concepts within an environment helps define the way a child learns. The way a play is structured within an environment helps increase the learning capability of the child. Both the constructive and creative plays are based on the elements within the environment of a child. A positive and safe environment encourages a child to be competent and continue to try different things, which in the end helps enhance the concept of cognitive learning and development.
  5. The learning environment for children depends on their involvement and the experience that they gain from being part of the process. As a learning experience begins, the child is given a role to play as one of the people involved in the process. With a guide who later defines the way it was supposed to be done or gives them the direction, children are more fascinated in the process. This is registered as an experience that also resonates as the psychoanalytic learning.
  6. When a practice becomes a culture, it is registered as an experience among the people involved. The more fun the process is the more interest it creates among the involved and the people who also seek to be involved. When the experience is not pleasant or involving, there is less interest and eagerness to be involved in the process leading to less concentration and even retention of the lessons being taught.
  7. Learning through graphic representation is one of the most integrative ways of ensuring that children get to retain their teachings and even develop other related skills to the lesson. The use of a graphical representation introduces shapes, color, and cognitive development among children. Therefore, it should be encouraged more at the early stages of learning for children.
  8. An interactive exercise offers children a well-rounded learning experience that also adds to their ability to be social and more involved in the different things in their lives. Although a tutor/ instructor has to take the role of initiating the experience and even asking the questions related to a particular skill to enhance the ability of the child to grasp a specific skill such as math or science.
